1 year, "O" by Cirque du Soleil
I am a professional trapeze swinging trapeze artist and I met Jared backstage at ‘O,’ Cirque du Soleil’s water show in Las Vegas. Working at ‘O’ was my childhood dream. Unfortunately, I suffered an injury early on during rehearsal and was completely devastated. As an elite athlete, understanding when to not push through pain is not my forte, yet somehow Jared taught me how to safely work through the perils of post concussion symptoms and stopped me from moving too quickly. Without Jared’s encouragement, motivation, and most of all, kindness, I am not sure I would have had the confidence to step back into the gym. He changed my life.

2 years youth hockey
I am so excited for Kendell and Jared to begin their new journey. We have known them since they were teenagers working at Crystal Palace helping kids have fun and learn to skate and play roller hockey. We watched Jared work patiently with our almost three year old to learn to skate and to play roller hockey at the same time. I can still see Ryan holding onto his hockey stick and Jared pulling him slowly from one end of the rink to the other. Kendell was always there to encourage and teach the boys. Our twelve year old still talks about Coach Kendell and Coach Jared. He has gone on to play ice hockey and had many coaches, but he will always remember those day with Coach Kendell and Coach Jared. Some memories are too good to forget.

1 year, Virtual Training
I have never been majorly into exercise and especially not into running. With all the restrictions of the pandemic, running became my main outlet. Jared helped transform me from someone who could run three miles with some difficulty into someone who ran their first ever half-marathon (during a pandemic!). He saw the potential I could not see and made a workout plan that prioritized what I enjoyed while including necessary exercises to develop proper muscles and fortitude. Learning how to enjoy working out has greatly improved my mental health, my relationship to my body, and what I believe I am capable of. Jared made something I would’ve said was impossible not only accessible, but a reality! Now, working out has become a staple in my day-to-day life and Jared owes much of that credit. I cannot thank him enough for being an excellent trainer and person.
