Jared Joerger MS, CSCS
Head Strength Coach, Owner

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Jared grew up playing hockey at a young age within the walls of roller and ice hockey rinks around the valley.  Jared attended UNLV for both his undergraduate and graduate education receiving both a bachelor's in Kinesiology and master's degree in Biomechanics. While in school, he played and coached for the Rebel hockey team and began his career as a strength and conditioning coach.

Jared has spent the last 15 years coaching youth hockey and as a strength and conditioning coach. Over the last seven years, Jared has worked as a strength coach with youth, college, and professional hockey players, among other athletes. Prior to the opening of Off Ice Athletics, Jared spent a year and a half as a Performance Conditioning Specialist with Cirque du Soleil's Las Vegas resident shows, working with some of the most talented acrobats, dancers, and artists in the world.

Jared's many years of experience as a competitive hockey player as well as a youth hockey coach gives him the knowledge necessary to understand the physical demands of the sport.
